Unity Platformer
A satirical take on the beef between Donald Trump and Kim Jong-un. Armed with the deadliest weapon known to mankind, the AR-15, Donald single handedly takes it to Kim and his red army.
This was a game we created for our spring break of 2018 as an exercise in Unity game development. It features an expandable platforming and weapon system made by myself with best practices to allow for further development of the game.

Gameplay
I created a robust control system where the player can shoot in 8 cardinal directions (à la Contra) jump and run. The gunplay is built in a very expandable way using best practices to allow for more weapons to be added over time. A developer can set the damage of a given weapon, as well as other stats like fire rate. These settings are then passed to the projectile upon creation so that each gun behaves in the way you'd expect. There are other intelligent systems in use like magazines and even superloading (reloading with a round already chambered to attain a +1 bullet capacity).
Turns out it was all just a dream...
